とうとうトニー賞の授賞式が始まりました。今アメリカでは放送の真っ只中です。今回日本人の初快挙として日本の誇るべき俳優渡辺謙がノミネートされましたがどうなったのでしょうか。隣には妻の南果歩さんも授賞式を見守っています。
今回渡辺謙は「the king and I 」で主演男優にノミネートされました。そして同作品に出演した女優Ruthie Ann Milesがトニー賞を受賞！。緊張していたルーシーはスピーチで携帯を見てカンニングしてましたがその手も震えてました（笑）
他の受賞者もやはり緊張している様子が伝わってきました。やはりこの賞を受賞することは大きな意味があるんですね。

すごいですね〜！ケリー・オハラは過去に６度もノミネートされているということなので、本当の実力派女優ですね。主演女優と助演女優と２冠を獲得の「the king and I」ですが、渡辺謙が獲得できなかったのが本当に残念です。。
でもこれで渡辺謙はさらに認知度が上がりましたよね。
